Our Sustainable Lifecycle Process
Hoffman Estates is a large northwest suburb with established neighborhoods, corporate campuses and a busy arena district.
1. Repair & Refurbish
Our first priority is always extending the life of the machine. If a unit has potential to make a come back, our team fixes, cleans, and refurbishes it so it can be safely reused.
2. Harvest & Recycle Parts
If an appliance is beyond repair, we don't throw it away. We carefully dismantle the unit to salvage valuable functional components, electronics, and mechanical parts to keep other household appliances running.
3. Responsible Scrap Salvage
As a strict last resort, machines that are completely stripped or entirely unusable are broken down into raw commodities. We separate the metals and materials safely, selling them as scrap to local recycling facilities.
Appliance Pickup in Hoffman Estates: What to Know
Hoffman Estates grew rapidly in the 1960s and 70s, and its neighborhoods of split-levels and ranches are at the age where second and third-generation appliances are failing. Finished basements are standard, so basement carries are part of most jobs.
The village's hard water is tough on water heaters and dishwashers — partners here remove them constantly. Garage refrigerators that have weathered years of temperature swings are another common call.
The village's refuse program requires advance scheduling and a fee for appliances. A partner pickup skips both — they come to your door on your schedule.
