Our Sustainable Lifecycle Process
Schaumburg is the economic hub of the northwest suburbs, home to Woodfield Mall and miles of established neighborhoods.
1. Repair & Refurbish
Our first priority is always extending the life of the machine. If a unit has potential to make a come back, our team fixes, cleans, and refurbishes it so it can be safely reused.
2. Harvest & Recycle Parts
If an appliance is beyond repair, we don't throw it away. We carefully dismantle the unit to salvage valuable functional components, electronics, and mechanical parts to keep other household appliances running.
3. Responsible Scrap Salvage
As a strict last resort, machines that are completely stripped or entirely unusable are broken down into raw commodities. We separate the metals and materials safely, selling them as scrap to local recycling facilities.
Appliance Pickup in Schaumburg: What to Know
Schaumburg's housing is mostly 1970s through 1990s subdivisions — split-levels, ranches and two-stories built during the area's boom. Those homes are at the age where original and second-generation appliances are failing in waves, especially water heaters on the area's hard water.
Finished basements are common here, and basement freezer and second-refrigerator removals are among the most frequent jobs. Partners who work Schaumburg know the split-level layouts and tight basement stairs well.
The village's refuse program requires advance scheduling and a fee for appliances. A partner pickup handles the whole job in one visit, from basement to truck.
