Need to clear out an old machine or replace a broken unit? Tell us what needs to go and submit your local removal request right here in Indio and surrounding neighborhoods.
Our Sustainable Lifecycle Process
Free appliance pickup across Indio, from the older neighborhoods around Miles Avenue and the downtown corridor to newer tracts in the Shadow Hills and Terra Lago areas.
1. Repair & Refurbish
Our first priority is always extending the life of the machine. If a unit has potential to make a come back, our team fixes, cleans, and refurbishes it so it can be safely reused.
2. Harvest & Recycle Parts
If an appliance is beyond repair, we don't throw it away. We carefully dismantle the unit to salvage valuable functional components, electronics, and mechanical parts to keep other household appliances running.
3. Responsible Scrap Salvage
As a strict last resort, machines that are completely stripped or entirely unusable are broken down into raw commodities. We separate the metals and materials safely, selling them as scrap to local recycling facilities.
Appliance Pickup in Indio: What to Know
Indio is one of the valley's fastest-growing cities, and its housing stock tells the story: older postwar neighborhoods near downtown and the fairgrounds sit alongside waves of newer tracts built east of Golf Center Parkway. The older homes are now cycling out their second and third generation of appliances, while newer builds are swapping out builder-grade units after a decade of desert heat.
Indio summers are among the hottest in the valley, which wears out refrigerators and water heaters faster than in cooler climates. Garage refrigerators that lose their fight against the heat and freezers that stopped keeping up during a long summer are among the most common pickups here.
The city is also the eastern gateway to the valley, so pickups in Indio are often grouped with nearby Coachella, La Quinta and Bermuda Dunes on the same route. If your appliance is on a rural-feeling lot with a gate or a long driveway, mention it in the comments so the partner arrives prepared.
