Free Appliance Pickup & Recycling in Palm Desert, CA
Need to clear out an old machine or replace a broken unit? Tell us what needs to go and submit your local removal request right here in Palm Desert and surrounding neighborhoods.
Our Sustainable Lifecycle Process
Free appliance pickup across Palm Desert, from country club communities and El Paseo-area homes to the older El Pueblo neighborhoods and the Highway 111 corridor.
1. Repair & Refurbish
Our first priority is always extending the life of the machine. If a unit has potential to make a come back, our team fixes, cleans, and refurbishes it so it can be safely reused.
2. Harvest & Recycle Parts
If an appliance is beyond repair, we don't throw it away. We carefully dismantle the unit to salvage valuable functional components, electronics, and mechanical parts to keep other household appliances running.
3. Responsible Scrap Salvage
As a strict last resort, machines that are completely stripped or entirely unusable are broken down into raw commodities. We separate the metals and materials safely, selling them as scrap to local recycling facilities.
Appliance Pickup in Palm Desert: What to Know
Palm Desert mixes country club estates, seasonal retirement homes and long-established middle-class neighborhoods. Club-area homes are frequently updated when owners modernize a kitchen or take over a winter residence, so working high-end appliances come up for pickup more often here than in most valley cities.
Many Palm Desert homes are occupied only part of the year. Refrigerators and freezers that shut down after months of vacancy, or water heaters that failed while the house sat empty in the summer, are a familiar story in the part-time communities. Owners often arrange pickups remotely, which we handle easily.
Gated communities are common here, especially around the golf clubs. If your home is behind a gate, say so in the comments and include gate instructions so the partner isn't turned away at the entrance.
