Free Appliance Pickup & Recycling in Fernley, NV
Need to clear out an old machine or replace a broken unit? Tell us what needs to go and submit your local removal request right here in Fernley and surrounding neighborhoods.
Our Sustainable Lifecycle Process
Fast-growing Fernley gets free appliance pickup — from established neighborhoods near downtown to new homes along Farm District Road.
1. Repair & Refurbish
Our first priority is always extending the life of the machine. If a unit has potential to make a come back, our team fixes, cleans, and refurbishes it so it can be safely reused.
2. Harvest & Recycle Parts
If an appliance is beyond repair, we don't throw it away. We carefully dismantle the unit to salvage valuable functional components, electronics, and mechanical parts to keep other household appliances running.
3. Responsible Scrap Salvage
As a strict last resort, machines that are completely stripped or entirely unusable are broken down into raw commodities. We separate the metals and materials safely, selling them as scrap to local recycling facilities.
Appliance Pickup in Fernley: What to Know
Fernley has grown rapidly as an affordable alternative to the Reno area, and its many newer homes are reaching the age where builder-grade water heaters and dishwashers start failing. Hard water in the Truckee Canal service area shortens water heater life noticeably.
Many Fernley properties sit on larger rural lots with outbuildings, where an old freezer or extra refrigerator may have been running for years. Partners can clear units from shops, barns, and garages — just describe the location on the form.
Because Fernley is about 30 miles east of Reno, mention any gate codes, long driveways, or animals on the property so your partner's trip out goes smoothly.
